Author, motivational speaker and businessman Stephen R. Covey has passed away as the result of a bicycle accident that occurred several months ago. Mr. Covey was 79 years old when he passed away early Monday morning in an Idaho hospital, according to a statement released by his family. The bicycle accident, which was originally thought to be minor, had confined Mr. Covey to a hospital since the accident occurred on April 19th of this year. There was a small amount bleeding on the frontal lobe of the brain that occurred when Mr. Covey fell of his bike, though he was wearing a helmet, yet apparently the damage was more significant and Mr. Covey never recovered therefrom.

His The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People will continue to impact businesses and individuals for years to come. Our most sincere condolences go out to his family and hope they may find peace at this time.
